Meet Monique aka Mo aka Mobae, the creative force behind Mobae Haircare, a brand that hopes to redefine personal care. Keeping Jesus Christ at the center of her business has always been the top priority for Mo. Mobae Haircare came to life in 2016 as Mo's family and friends took an interest in how quickly her hair grew while using her DIY hair products. She created hair oil blends on and off until 2021 when she decided to completely rebrand (twice) and give it her all. This small business, though it has its ups and downs, has already become an answered prayer. Mo has been vocal about having found her purpose and enjoying every moment of it.

As far as getting to know me goes, I've been on my natural hair journey since 2012 when I did a 'big chop'. I was thirteen years old at the time. That's when my passion for natural hair care sprouted. Since then I've been working on developing a brand I can feel proud of. My passion alone wasn't enough to encourage me to believe in Mobae Haircare. God really had to spell it out for me. After a lot of prayer, I felt confident in starting an official hair care business. I knew I had a lot to give. Formulating hair care has been a long process but well worth it now that I've found my passion. Despite many trials and losses, with God's guidance, I've formulated an amazing collection of products! I don't know where I'd be without God holding my hand through the ups and downs of entrepreneurship. After all, this is only the beginning.
